The forms on this page will assist you with the process of donating your timeshare and taking advantage of the associated tax write offs as provided by the I.R.S.

Please note: You are under no obligation by submitting this paperwork.  These documents are what we need to verify your ownership with your timeshare developer/HOA and ensure that you are eligible to donate the timeshare.  Also, listed below are I.R.S. documents that have important tax benefits information that you will want to review, for your understanding and knowledge.

These forms are required in order to initiate your timeshare donation. These forms consist of a fax cover sheet and an authorization form that gives the closing company the ability to access your timeshare account information.

IRS Charitable Donation Information form
This is general information released by the IRS to educate people about charitable donations.  Please read it if you have any questions about charitable donations and taxation.


IRS Form 8283 Instructions
This is the instruction sheet for IRS Form 8283. You must submit this IRS form if you have donated a property (a non-cash donation) that was worth over $500 (presumably your timeshare donation will exceed a $500 value, so you probably need this form).  If the property value is over $5000, then you also need to include a declaration by an appraiser.

IRS Form 8282
This is the IRS tax form used by the donee (the charity) to declare the sale, exchange or other disposition of donated property.

All properties will be sold by a sub-contractor; Timeshare Angels, Inc.  They will be paid a 35% commission for this service.  The remaining 65% of the sale price will go to charity after a $235.00 title search fee.  All properties are advertised through standard practices i.e., newspaper, internet and a network of timeshare brokers throughout the U.S. for a four week period.  We do not set a minimum price which must be offered in order to sell the property.  The timeshare is sold to the highest offer during that four week period.  These terms must be accepted by the donor in order to donate their property.
